At Empower Speech Therapy, we provide individualized and evidence-based speech therapy services for children and adults. Our approach is centered around offering speech and language therapy to help our clients achieve their communication goals and improve their quality of life.
With private speech therapy, we offer a range of speech therapy services for children, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for various speech disorders, language disorders, and communication difficulties. We also provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers.
Our therapists are well equipped to work with children who stutter. We will provide them with strategies to feel less tense and speak more freely with friends and family.
Speech sound disorders occur when children have difficulty being understood when they talk. This can be the result of a phonological pattern (the gps in their language system continually routes them to the wrong sound) or an articulation error where the sound they make is close to the correct sound but not correct. We help you children speak with confidence.
Common motor speech disorders include childhood apraxia of speech and dysarthria. We use principles of motor planning to appropriately assess, diagnose, and treat the motor planning deficits.
We can help your child better understand the meaning of words as well as improve vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, and story retell skills. Kids learn these skills within fun and motivating activities while parents learn how to apply these strategies into their daily routines.
